Bailey Waste Recycling Ltd. offers a good, reliable and cost effective system for the removal of waste paper and cardboard packaging in baled or loose form. We can collect either part or full loads and supply a Recycling Certificate for all waste paper.

What constitutes waste paper?

It is a mixture of discarded paper and board which arises from six main points:

1. Trimmings and offcuts made by numerous establishments as a result of their operations in printing, publishing, envelope making, box making, carton making etc.
2. Old files and ledgers discarded by business houses.
3. Spoils arising from the production of paper and board, commonly called broke.
4. Containers and packing paper used for the carriage of consumable goods to shops and supermarkets.
5. Cardboard packaging generated from suppliers.
6. All miscellaneous paper, newspapers, magazines, books etc. thrown away by householders.
   

Practically 100% is exported to the U.K., France, Germany, India, Korea and China.

When the waste paper arrives at Bailey Waste Recycling Ltd., it is firstly rough sorted into board or paper making material. The paper making grades are then finely sorted, it is shredded, baled in press-packed bales and sent on to the paper mills. Different grades go to different mills depending on what types of paper they are making.
